Can't beleive that I have lived in Los Angeles since 1984 and only just went to Hollywood Cemetary for a 'Dia de los Muertos'  It is true that people never bother to see what is in the back yard.   I only wish that Lila Downs had been the featured singer since she is so good.  But the Aztec and Oxacian dancers made up for it.  It is such a mellowing experience to be in the middle of a rather dreary area of town and to have such a peaceful environment.  In the dark, it is so peaceful.  

Politics is rearing its ugly head only a few more days before the election. I just don't care  Right now I just want to get rid of the bladder infection and stop the kidney pain.  I really really want to enjoy November -it is going to be a wonderful month if I can just get over this infection.   Of course I am thinking surgery instead of being posiitve and thinking antibiotics.

Enjoy the ghosts, vampires, gouls and other creatures of the night.  Is that why I have a stomach ache or is it the asparagus?  The cats are sleeping so it must be...

I just started my new life as a blogger and hope to blog several times a week until I retire. Then I can blog all day!

This is like a diary but if I open it to the public I will have to be polite-never know who might read it.  Hope someone does.  As I become more experienced, I will add photos, interesting thoughts (interesting to me anyway) and comments (hopefully wise).

The cats are quiet but they won't stay that way.  Sylvaester is jealous of the computer, Foxfire only wants to be petted and Polgara only cares about sitting on the desk when she is not on a bookshelf.
